Gospel growth

We believe that we are called to make disciples and not merely converts. The Bible is very clear that the gospel that saves us also should be growing in us if we are genuinely born again. Much of our discipleship happens on Sunday mornings but we also believe that men and women should have times set aside to encourage and equip one another in the Word.

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)

Romans 8

Launches Sunday, Jan 19th | 9:30am | Church Sanctuary

Many Christians are nervous about telling someone else about Jesus. We prefer to leave it up to the preacher, or to those we see as particularly gifted for evangelism in our congregations. But all believers are called to make disciples. In this nine-week study we won’t offer quick fixes or evangelism gimmicks. Instead, by continually going back to the gospel, we’ll get the proper motivation to work together as a church to share the gospel message with those who are lost without Christ

The Parables of Jesus

Launches Wednesday, Jan 29th | 7pm | Ch

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, one of the primary ways He would instruct His disciples was through parables. People would gather from far and wide in order to listen to what Jesus said about the kingdom of God, and the most common way He would explain the kingdom was in parables. But what does God want us to learn from these parables? In this series, Dr. R.C. Sproul examines several parables of Jesus, exploring the rich truths they reveal about who Jesus is and what He came to achieve through His life, death, and resurrection.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

Launches Thursday, Jan 30th | 7pm | Mark & Katie Pierce's Home

Although the Holy Spirit is sometimes the forgotten Person of the Trinity, His presence and work is found throughout redemptive history. In this study, theologian and author Sinclair Ferguson traces the work of the Holy Spirit through Scripture-from creation to the work of Christ to His dwelling in our hearts today. Along the way, he sheds light on the vital role the Holy Spirit serves. Dr. Ferguson’s goal is to help us know the Holy Spirit as a person, in addition to knowing of His power and work within us.
