Pre-Service Prayer — 9:15 a.m.
We gather every Lord's Day at 9:15 a.m. to have a time of prayer before we begin our Sunday School hour. It is a time to pray for the morning's activities, as well as to pray for one another. As Charles Spurgeon said, "Prayer can never be in excess."
Bible Studies — Sunday and Wednesday
We believe that small Bible Study groups are essential for promoting unity, fellowship, hospitality, and discipleship in the church.
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. It is a family integrated time of study involving books of the Bible, teaching series, and group discussions.
We are intentional about involving both the adults and children, as we believe it is a wonderful time to supplement family or personal worship that is taking place in the home.

Men's Prayer
We believe men should meet for two simple reasons – prayer (1 Tim. 2:8) and teaching one another sound doctrine (2 Tim. 2:2). Our men gather for prayer on the second Sunday evening of each month at 6:30 p.m. They read through a Psalm together, pray in response to God’s Word, and then spend time praying for one another, their families, the church, and the community. Our men also gather in discipleship groups to study the Bible or explore a Biblical topic or doctrine together.
Women's Discipleship
The women regularly disciple one another in both formal and informal groups. They meet to study and discuss a number of topics that are essential to their walk with Christ. The moms of Harbins will also often meet up during the week to discuss life, parenting, and a whole host of other topics as they seek to do life together.
Missions and Outreach
We believe it is the church's mission to spread the fame of God's name and the glory of the gospel both locally and globally. This missional mandate can be carried out through organized efforts by the church via partnerships with other ministries, missions offerings, and scheduled ministry activities. Yet, we also believe it is the responsibility of each family in the church to be on mission for Christ through simple, organic, grass-roots efforts to minister to their neighbors and friends through hospitality, Christ-like kindness, and sharing the life-saving message of Christ.
Our local evangelism efforts take place at Planned Parenthood in Lawrenceville (abortion ministry), and in downtown Athens (street evangelism).
As a church, we are blessed to support international missions, local church plants, and local street evangelism ministries.
