Missions and Outreach

We believe it is the church's mission to spread the fame of God's name and the glory of the gospel both locally and globally.  This missional mandate can be carried out through organized efforts by the church via partnerships with other ministries, missions offerings, and scheduled ministry activities. Yet, we also believe it is the responsibility of each family in the church to be on mission for Christ through simple, organic, grass-roots efforts to minister to their neighbors and friends through hospitality, Christ-like kindness, and sharing the life-saving message of Christ.

And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

Missions and Outreach Opportunities

Local Church Planting

Harbins has supported local church planting efforts in several locations across America. Many parts of America are considered to be as "unreached" as foreign countries. We believe that Gospel advancement needs healthy churches to transform an evangelistic movement into a generational Gospel witness.

International Missions

Harbins supports several international missionary efforts. We have taken trips to minister to needy areas of the world. We hope to continue to increase our footprint in endeavors to take the good news of Jesus Christ to people who have currently have no access to the Gospel.

Local Evangelism

Harbins supports a few local evangelists who are committed to taking the Gospel to the streets. You will often hear reports of evangelistic encounters at Harbins. We truly believe that the Gospel is the greatest news in the world and that people are going to hell. We must be bold in our witness about Christ.

Partner with us!

Harbins partners with Sonlife Ministries for local evangelism. Members from Harbins head to Planned Parenthood in Lawrenceville, GA to plead for the lives of the unborn and preach the Gospel to mothers and their families as they consider life. We also support the Atlanta Morning Center.

To date, we have given out thousands of dollars worth of baby supplies to families in our community--completely free! We often have diapers, wipes, and formula. We have also given out strollers, car seats, furniture, and pack-n-plays.
