Giving

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

- 2 Corinthians 8:9

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

- 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

- 2 Corinthians 9:8

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

- Matthew 6:19-21

Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways To Give

Give Online

You can give online here and through our app. Please know that giving online includes a processing fee. If you are wanting to support the ministry of Harbins Community Baptist Church, we would appreciate that you would prioritize giving in person or via mail, but feel free to make use of the online giving platform.

Give In Person

At Harbins, we intentionally do not make a big deal about giving. We trust that the Lord will provide for the ministry here, and we want members to give according to the Lord's leading and out of a spirit of generosity.

During the last song of the service, members are invited to bring gifts to the front and place them within a black box on the stage. Attenders can also give via a black box toward the back of the sanctuary by the sound booth.
